Over
the past few months an increasing number of burglaries and thefts have been
occurring at IUPUI.
The
areas being targeted include unlocked offices, locked areas with access over
walls through ceilings, and even locked areas or buildings that are physically
broken into.
Items
taken include key rings, laptop computers, and video equipment along with other
items.
Even
if you lock your office or suite after hours these types of items should not be
left out or in unlocked desks or cabinets.
Key
rings in particular should never be left in unlocked desks or "hidden"
so employees have access to them.

you believe a crime has occurred or see anything suspicious you should call the
IUPUI Police at 274-7911.
