Crime Alert
March 5, 2001
Two
robberies occurred within minutes of each other on March 4, 2001 around 11:25
p.m.
The first occurred in IUPUI Lot 69 800 W. North Street.
The second occurred in IUPUI Lot 58 1075 W. Vermont Street
Both
victims were approached by a male displaying a semi-automatic handgun who
demanded their wallets.
Neither victim was injured.
The
suspect was described by both victims as a black male, 6' 2" 185-200 lbs,
dark complexion, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweat pants and possibly
a dark blue stocking cap under the hood.
He was armed with a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol, and last seen running
south through IUPUI Lot 58.
