A parking garage attendant at 850 W. North Street reported his girlfriend got out of her vehicle and started swinging a wine bottle at him. The girlfriend then grabbed a knife and tried to stab the attendant. The attendant closed the booth window to avoid further confrontation and the suspect shattered the window with the wine bottle. Another vehicle pulled up behind the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect fled the area. The attendant was not injured and called IUPD. Officers confiscated the wine bottle and placed it in the IUPD Property room; investigation continues.
